So there it is “Jenny from the Block” has stepped off and Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler is no longer mak’in “Love in an Elevator” at American Idol. J.Lo and Steven Tyler out of AI….I guess there just isn’t enough money in the buget to keep their interest or maybe J.Lo and Steven feel that their respective careers are suffering. When was the last time either of them had a hit song? Aerosmith is like a shark; the band needs to keep touring or they will drown in Justin Bieber and his fellow teens pop music waterworld.
Jennifer Lopez? well…I don’t know what to say there, because no amount of touring seems to be able to render a hit song for her. Now we come to another point of interest…when will Randy Jackson get a clue and leave the show. Randy Jackson is some sixty years old and not exactly able to find the next Justin Bieber or One Direction or Big Time Rush. It was Justin B. who found Carly Rae Jepson on YouTube, signed her and created the viral vid craze from Hell with “Call Me Maybe”.
It was with friends Selena Gomez, Ashley Tisdale and others, along with Justin who create the first “Call Me Maybe” sing-along video. So who will be the next AI judges?….its anyone’s guess but the American Idol fans and the media, will be waiting breathlessly, to find out.
