Its July again one and all, and while to many of us this brings to mind barbeques, flags, fireworks, and singing the patriotic medleys of our forefathers, to others the middle point of summer equates to a sign that once again its time to assemble our cosplay gear and grab our favorite pair of fake fur cat ears in [...] -
Andrew Harrell wrote a new blog post: Green Lantern – A Note of Caution to Comic Book Fans 11 months ago
Green Lantern hit theatres across the country this weekend, and as a fellow fanboy, and regarding myself as something of a comic/film connoisseur, I decided to check it out. A thought however crossed my mind 114 some odd minutes later while walking out of the theatre house, one that made the ride home a rather disquieting [...] -

Recently I had the chance to ask Sebastian, Hype, and Percy Blue, rising Memphis titans Black Rock Revival, a few questions about their band, sound, influences, and future plans (among the lot) as one of the most prominent rising music acts in their region. And since the words only hold meaning coming from the [...] -

This most recent filmic version of Charlotte Bronte’s Victorian era classic proves yetagain, as if it were necessary, that no one does period movies with the aplomb ofthe British. The location choices, set decoration, art direction and costuming areall perfectly evocative. Audiences in Ms. Bronte’s time had fewer demands on their… -

anyone reading A Clockwork Orange, make sure you get the FULL version of the novella, the one with 21 chapters instead of 20. The American version leaves out the entire final chapter, and therefore the ENTIRE ending is ommitted. Brilliant story that has way more meaning than you’d expect in one so heavily slathered in [...]
